December 19, 2023

Dear Mr. Chairman,

Good morning! Would you please advise us of the location of the upcoming Spring Commission Meeting on April 9, 2024? It is possible that you may have a "higher than usual" interest from people in North Carolina in attending and making a public comment at that meeting. You may need to set aside more time - and more space.

Would you also provide us with any pre-requirements or limitations you have for North Carolinians who may wish to appear in-person before the Commission on that day? Is recording permissible? Would you consider live-streaming the meeting?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jean and Jim Blaine

Plodding forward, for some answers ... road trip and lunch opportunity?

  3. If it wasn't so serious a matter, I would have laughed over this post! Keep on going Mr. Blaine, you are doing what many employees wish we could be doing right now! Shine the light on the whole rotten structure!

  4. "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Life, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way-in short, the period was so far the like present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only."
