Let There Be Darkness... ?
As you may recall the SECU Board was asked back in April by Julian Hawes, long-time member and 2024 board candidate, for a copy of SECU procedures for submitting substantive resolutions to the SECU membership for consideration [link].
Prior requests had been ignored by the SECU CEO and Ms. Mona Moon, Board Chair.
Mr. Hawes received the following reply on May 5, 2025.

Dear Mr. Hawes:
Thank you for your April 24, 2025 and April 25, 2025 emails. We understand you are requesting the Board’s procedures for “inclusion of several substantive, member-supported resolutions in the notice of the 2025 Annual Meeting.” The rules for the Annual Meeting have not yet been set – they will be published in the Notice of Annual Meeting that will go out on August 29, 2025. See Article VIII, Section 2 of the Bylaws (explaining that the order of business, rules of order to be followed, and any policies and procedures adopted by the Board for the Annual Meeting will be sent to members at least 15 days before the date of the Annual Meeting).
