SECU: New Look For "New/New"? Or Just A Flight Of Fanciful?

😎 Morning! Had heard the rumors, but haven't seen this announced, have you?

❇❇ "The mark consists of the capitalized letters S E C U in the color blue with an orange break on the left side of the letter U with a fanciful graphic design evoking the shape of the State of North Carolina [or it may represent Canada (our 51st state),  the U.S., and Greenland] in orange underneath the letter S. "

😎 ... maybe it's not happening, just spending a little more money "fancifully"? **

** Cost of changing the signage alone, yikes! Need to enhance the "new/new' image? For the same price, consider holding an "all-tier" member lottery and award @ 50 or so winners $100,000 each. Members will love it! Have doubts? Can we vote on it?

Keep worrying about surprise "reveal parties"  - y'know, new logo, open membership, commercial lending, global expansion... 2025 Super Bowl ad?

(😎 Checked as a precaution; "Global" is already taken!)

  2. so now we know what they do in their meetings...
lack of collections never come up ... can't be bothered with actually doing some good for the company paying their salaries!

  3. Personal opinion, the yellowish pieces don't look like NC. We already have enough confusion regarding the state we serve. What is wrong with the SECU signage with the state like on some branch signs? I understand some may want to refresh the logo, but I feel like this new trademark color and font may be too trendy. It might even be somewhat out of date. JMO - Charity :)

    2. At least we can see that Marketing did something. Or, did SECU outsource this too?

  8. The U is kind of weird, but otherwise, I like it better than the old one. At least it still has the state of NC in it.
