  1. This new exec teams spreading is out of control!! Millions for the best of everything! I remember when we were careful and frugal with our members money! So very concerning!

  2. "Doesn't want SECU to be the next Blockbuster" and yet spending that money on newly created executive positions, flying these folks in, creating a recruiting department. That's right a recruiting department!!! Hiring Cornerstone to "assist", motivational speakers (scam), a marketing team, rebranding and doing away with North Carolina in SECU and the amazing tv ad! Blockbuster only lasted 23. SECU has been around for 85 and seen non-stop growth until Gym Haze showed up.

  3. As a Member Owner of SECU, just doublechecking that my eyes are not deceiving me, is that a 2 BILLION dollar DECREASE I see in those numbers in ONE YEAR? As one who does not work in the world of finance, please tell me this is incorrect? I remember hearing specifically at the Annual Meeting, SECU has always reported a gain every year since 1937. And if this correct, don't we as owners need to know where the money went and please don't tell me it was to provide us with better service, because your service has been on the decline for the past year. I think we are owed an explanation. Give US OUR Credit Union back.

  4. What I've come to appreciate lately is the fact that SECU became the second largest credit union while treating its members fairly and doing the right thing. That seems be changing though (both fairness and growth).

  6. SECU needs to change the “People helping People” motto. It used to feel good being able to help our members.
