Come on guys we never made a "formal" proposal just a regular proposal. This company is trying to go through damage control. Hope folks see through it!
Something about this whole situation with SECU and Local Government does not pass the "smell" test - formal? informal? ultimatum? demands? "we've been planning this for years", who really knows what went on but I hope the truth will come out at some point. Unfortunately, at the end of the day LGCU members are losing their 280 branches and will ultimately lose their credit union. It's very sad and many of their members don't have a clue yet. Those that can least afford it will be the ones most negatively impacted.
SECU expands the field of membership allowing LGFCU-Civic members who want physical branch access to join SECU since many will be in "financially underserved communities" or whatever legal wording is used to justify FOM expansion
“We are running to our members”-Naylor. More like running away. Most are sheriffs, firefighters, and just middle class people like you or I that actually use the branch to do their banking. Many are already frustrated they are losing the branch network. They just don’t want tellers etc to be used anymore. They want consumer behavior to be fully automated instead of having to use a human.

DeleteNah, I'm sure that's not it
New CEO Naylor is as bad as Hayes about screwing the membership over
