  3. We’re so excited for you to lead the charge. Thank you for standing up and speaking out. I know we still have a lot of work to do, and we are hopeful that you are the first new stewards of the CU. There is a difference!

This mission is much bigger then we even realize ...

  6. As a former employee, I had the privilege of meeting a lot of amazing Board Members along the way. They each had their own unique traits. But the ones who impressed me the most were the ones who showed GRIT and a strong commitment to serving the members. You reminded me of them when you delivered your comments at the annual meeting. We were all thrilled to hear you talk. Congratulations and thank you.

  8. The rest of the BOD and Leigh Brady ("I'm disappointed in the results") are going to try to sway you, fool you, and likely not always tell you the truth. Keep your guard up, ask lots of questions and stand firm in your beliefs.

Reinforcements are coming in a year!

  9. This is great news. MAKE SECU GREAT AGAIN. Put the 8 incumbents no notice - "You are lame ducks."

  10. Congrats!!! The Brady Bunch will continue to march forward as if they still don't know "we" exist!!!! We have to get more of our members involved and ensure they understand the "misinformation" and "not playing fair" is coming from the CEO and remaining incumbent board members and not us!!!

  12. What will the other 8 board members and Brady be most afraid of now? What will be the new 3 first wow moment? Will the new 3 request all meetings minutes and see what all has been discussed? The salaries of Hayes and Brady? The true cost of hiring and getting rid of Hayes? Exactly how many new higher ups have been brought in and at what salary and other cost to membership? How much has been spent on marketing? How much was paid to outside company to run the Annual Meeting? What else will they quickly find out?

    1. What about the NCR contract? Look at all the IT contracts too.

  13. Congratulations. As an 18 year employee I am glad to see these election results. The move for RBL is frantic and will be rolled out by November 1 for the rest of the personal lending portfolio. In the meantime, branch employees have not been allowed to order business cards for over a year now! We review employees quarterly although we don’t have a career path and aren’t able to promote. If they want us all to leave they’re holding the door. It’s pretty sad in branch life now.

    1. Branch life stinks right now. Morale is at an all time low. There's only so much we can do for the membership while we're shortstaffed and running on fumes. Those higher-ups in Raleigh are living the good life and don't have to face the membership on the daily. Must be nice to be oblivious.

  14. Anyone heard anything about the compensation study?

    1. Yep. Branch employees are now overpaid because they took stuff away from us. Operations leaders and the new folks in high places are underpaid and will probably get raises.

    2. Didn't they complete that. Or attest for mss and branch and like 800 people got a raise. Out of 5k or soo

    3. Yes. Employees value new titles more than pay adjustment. Some teams have gone back to the drawing board even for the new titles. Pay adjustment will be rolled out in phases. If they are rolled out in phases, it's due to the incompetence of the management. Will those who get their adjustment later get a back pay so all employees have had the same treatment?

    4. Only a few people were eligible for a salary increase. (I'm thinking less than 200 - I honestly don't remember the exact number from the email that was sent out.) So, apparently, we're not going to see anything else related to that study.

  15. "There's a difference"
All the money spent in erasing that phrase....

Brady bunch, Hazey, Pompous Bombastica, Visionary Lee Chalk, et al: It's SECU. There's a difference. Bit you real good?

    2. The sell out of the membership by the SECU Board continues. Individual board members better increase their individual liability coverage. There is plenty of dirt in these deals with more in the works.

  16. Thank you and welcome! We are happy to have you on board.

  17. Food for thought - I hope that our board takes the time to read the Code of Ethics that employees are made to agree to on a yearly basis. Then, with that said, I hope that the board holds Poor Leigh and cronies up to those standards.

  18. Thanks to the new board members for their bravery in our fight. We need to continue to share the facts about the current direction/changes with more members so that our voices cannot be dismissed. Brady thinks that the votes this year only represented a small percentage of the membership. Let's prove her wrong next year. It is true that the Board elections "in the past" have been a small representation of the membership, but we have not had to worry about board elections until they decided to hire Hayes. SECU is the 2nd largest credit union in the nation, but we have to fight to be heard. Our voices need to be loud and strong.

  19. I’ll be honest here Jim. They look too innocent for the wolves they are about to face. Prayers with you 3! Stay strong! We will have 4 more coming next year!

  20. As a former employee I can tell you SECU is not moving forward as they love to fire people now with over a decade of experience over a single transaction…so all I can say is you heartless selfish organization, I hope you enjoy screwing your employees and treating them like manure.
