"How Do Those Of Us Not In The Raleigh Area Sign To Get These Candidates On The Ballot?

 https://cslasheville.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/20-08-16-JW.jpg ... or should be!

😎 The above question was asked in a blog comment.

😎 If you would like a set of candidate petitions to sign:

           👉 email:  secu4in24@gmail.com

✅ 1) You will be sent a set of candidate petitions, which you can download and print.

      2) Sign the petitions to nominate and return by mail.  The original signatures must be returned

      3) You must be a member of SECU and at least 16 years old.

      4) The petition period is short so you need to request now and get your signed petitions in the return mail!

      5) Your email will not be used for any other purpose, nor shared .

      6) You are not voting for a candidate(s).

      7) You are simply asking that all members be allowed to have a choice of board candidates in 2024.

     8) The actual voting starts September 3, 2024.

... why is the SECU Board afraid to give the members a choice?

    1. If someone doesn't have a printer, print it off for them and mail it to them.

  2. Might be a stupid question but can you sign each of the 4 petition's?

    1. And please do sign all four. It is the only way all four member nominated candidates can get on the ballot.

  3. Thank you for doing this. They need to go, it's killing us in the branches. Right to the soul!

    2. Call centers are getting killed. Feel bad for our SVPs and VPs that have to deal with an incompetent upper management and HR that refuses to hire more staff for the call centers. We are backed up all day long and they’ve hired like 4-8 people in 2 years and the staff we have lost, we haven’t really replaced. It’s the same employees day after taking call after call expected to just be a robot and never stop answering the phone. We need staff!

    3. I understand your frustration but a Call Centers job is to answer call after call. Sorry but that’s the job.

    4. @7:57 okay, but when the call center is understaffed and the expectation is answer call after call after call with no break in volume, that's not just a bad employee experience, it's bad for members too. Long wait times and an emphasis on getting members off the phone is very clearly a bad thing for everyone. The CC should be staffed such that employees can take the time they need with members and not have to worry about the huge volume of calls waiting behind it. That's the point that I'm quite sure that person was making

    5. I’ve worked in the call center for years and the branch and the past 2 years working the call center has been harder than the branch I worked at. We really don’t have the staff to handle the volume and I understand the branch when it comes to their pains. But call center employees don’t have it easy…it’s honestly harder due to the volume.

    6. I’ve worked both. I remember when I use to crack on the mss and then I switched. It’s honestly more difficult than a branch position. Really depends on the branch but from my experience the mss is nonstop and we had time between members in the branch. That doesn’t exist in mss. We need to hire staff

    7. No empathy @7:57pm. We are f****** humans.

    8. You can always quit and find employment elsewhere. You the comment wasn’t showing hate it was stating a fact. It would be like a branch employee complaining about having to see people in person. Also, it seems people nowadays feel as if they shouldn’t work hard. It’s called work, it’s not break time, not social time. It’s work. Go work on roofs or help in construction, it may change your mindset a bit on how hard you work. Victim mentality is sickening!

    9. what happened to answering call in the branches? Are Call center and Branches understaffed? Where are the 1000 hires that Hayes hired in the first year he was here? why don't they go work in branches and at the call center? Are they ALL in administration? Seems that all the basic stuff SECU used to do in house has been farmed out of state to firms all over. What the hell is going on with Leigh Brady and This Board??????

    10. It’s funny how for years we use to have time between calls but since Mr. Jared Benish arrived and installed NICE…we have been backed up ever since. I really believe they are doing it on purpose sometimes. Worked in the call center for 8 years but it was never as crazy as it is now until he arrived. It’s either we are understaffed or they are backing the ques up on purpose to wear staff out so they will quit.

      Delete
    11. @3:21pm ok Ms.Brady sounds like you just don’t want to hire folks so you gaslight your employees into quitting and keeping the call centers and branches understaffed so folks will quit. Listen to your employees! Hire staff! The gaslighting is hilarious when our executives don’t do any work at all but ride around in yachts while we do the work.

      Delete
    12. Look at the gaslighting by upper management. @3:21

    13. It’s funny how both branches and call centers are both complaining about how they are understaffed but yet upper management just gaslights us and tells us to find another job. We know that’s what you want. You want people to quit. What a lovely human you are

      Delete
    14. Studies continue to show that working 8-10 hours a day isn’t as productive as workers working 4-6 hours. So Naturally people will wear out working 8-10 hours especially with being understaffed. Enough of the gaslighting. Secu has done it right for years expect the past 2 and it all falls on the ceo and board

      Delete
    15. Branches and call centers both are understaffed and both are complaining to hire more workers and train more people! LISTEN TO YOUR EMPLOYEES. WEVE DONE IT RIGHT FOR 80+ YEARS WHY IS IT DIFFICULT NOW???

      Delete
    16. I would love to see what our ceo and executive team does all day…along with HR. They don’t work nearly as hard as branch and call center employees. Not even close

      Delete
    17. In other words @3:21 work harder peasants! We don’t care what you think! You work for us!

    18. Can we end this little wannabe corporate oligarchy at secu already…4 more in 24.

      Delete
    19. Meanwhile us branch staff typically have 2-3 tellers per branch and are always understaffed with our LOs. We need staff in our branches!!!!! Every teller slot filled in each branch. No empty spaces

      Delete
    20. It’s pretty clear every department at secu outside of the executive positions are very understaffed

      Delete
    21. I cannot wait to see these folks lose. 4 more in 24!

      Delete
    22. Ok so let’s fix this for ALL of SECU employees and members & sign the petition!! We need SO many changes right now & it will not get any better if we do not start with replacing the 4 current incumbents, so get busy with it! We WILL get our SECU back…and I for one cannot wait!

    23. I'm a member and I really resent the service down ground in the branches and at the call center. I despise the new menu system at the call center.. and the absurd wait times. It used to be if you called SECU, you talked to a person. Never, ever a punch button menu. go in a branch and wait and wait. Certainly has happened to me in a NRaleigh location a couple of times. And I could see someone sitting in an office while one teller worked the line for cars and one teller worked the inside folks. Sure is working. I have moved most of my money out of SECU and rarely call or go ina branch. SECU is like all other financial institutions. In it for my bucks. So sorry service means I'm in it for the bucks too. And that is elsewhere. Administration ought to listen. customoer service is Very important when you have crappy rates.

    24. @6:26 amen! Let’s end this once and for all in October! Branch, MSS, internal departments…time to put the differences aside and vote these crooks out this October that is the main cause of SECUs problems. The problem isn’t a teller or a manager or a vp. Our problem is the board and ceo. Vote and we can end their careers at SECU!!!

    25. NICE is the biggest joke of a phone system I have ever used.

    26. Leigh Brady, Jared Benish, and Josh Bomba, or any board member wouldn’t last one work day at a branch or call center. Leigh, go be a real CEO and run a teller drawer just one day at a busy branch in Raleigh and I bet you’ll shut up and hire more staff after that. Or better yet work a Friday or Saturday when the phones are non stop. You’ll be back in your penthouse office real quick.

    27. Real leaders get in the trenches with their employees and see what that their day to day is like. Not barking out orders from above from email while you don’t have a clue what our job is and what our day to day is like. We need new leadership. #4more24

    28. I think we all should vote for the executives to actually work for one week in the branch or call center! Let them get a taste instead of sipping coffee in your little penthouse office while we do the work for the company….come on Leigh, come grab a drawer and work! Let’s see what you are made of…you’ve been pretty much hidden the past year. At least Hayes made himself visible lol! Too visible but you get the point. I want to see you actually do some work for the company and contribute instead of barking orders when you don’t even have a clue what our job is like….

    29. @10:48pm She definitely would. I love our members but we get cussed out over the phone everyday and we have to take it.. the minute Leigh brady gets cussed over the phone she would hang up and go back to her little fancy office.

    30. "It used to be if you called SECU, you talked to a person."
This happened because it was 'mandated' by the previous CEO's (not GYM) that all calls must be answered by a person ...
