As an incumbent,
... if re-elected, I pledge to become a vegetarian.
✅ Do the 4 "self-selected" board incumbents really "have the right answers" for what's best in the future for your credit union, SECU?
Look at their record of performance over the last 3 years:
For the Record: * The injustice of RBL * $250 million in 2024 loan losses * 2% or less savings rates * soaring operating costs * service quality declines * erosion of trust with members and staff * the $5 billion loan and the $6 million CEO * the "you can't talk at their annual meeting * the spend your money to save their necks ads * and more!
✅ Or would you trust the judgment of over 50+ trusted, statewide SECU leaders - with over 1,500+ years of SECU experience - who ask you to support the 4 member-nominated candidates and not risk the future of our SECU:
Jean Blaine, Susie Ford, Julian Hawes, and Kirby Parrish.

... 4 more in '24!!!
4 MORE IN 24!!!! Their days are numbered!!!!
ReplyDeleteI certainly hope so. I’ve been telling everyone and have been getting the word out for 4 more in 24. As a current employee, I can’t take much more. Turnover is sky high, member service is atrocious, no one cares anymore all because of bad board decisions.
DeleteThere's a lot of people who care but it just takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel!
DeleteI could add a couple hundred more years of experience from SECU folks I know who aren't on the list ... EASILY!
ReplyDelete* 4 more in 24 *
And that's only the SVPs and VPs on the list. I spent 4 great years at the credit union in IT and left after watching most of the good IT governance and risk mitigation practices we had in place get thrown away by new to the credit union "management". Objective measures of maturity were set back from years of remarkable progress. Not good stewardship of our member's resources at all. It time for board members dedicated to "do the right thing" to set things back on the right path.
ReplyDeleteQuite an impressive list of smart, dedicated people. They understood that all the members needed all the financial assistance SECU could provide. Seems like the current board just wants to help some of the members.
ReplyDeleteI personally think they had rather have all the turnover and not have anyone stay and retire there. That way they don't have to pay for any so called retirement benefits. Oh wait, you might get a plaque...my bad
ReplyDeleteCurrent IT employee. Never seen it like this and the current IT EVPs are atrocious except perhaps the guy leading digital. The people leading IT infrastructure and security hate the credit union and the people. I don’t understand why they stay here unless they love tormenting the rest of us. I don’t know much about what goes on at the board level but I see what’s going on here in IT snd it makes me sad.
ReplyDeleteHopefully reverse some of these poor decisions. MLO back in branch was a start. Any news on FAS going back! They all need to be put back to work!!!!
