  3. It’s so sad that this board is championing all this ridiculousness. Where will we be a year from now? It’s literally scary.

  4. One of the things that I learned watching the documentary "Inside Job" was that the people who could have done something to prevent the crisis - didn't do anything until it was too late.

    1. NCUA or anyone else responsible. If you are seeing this. Stop this clown. If you don’t. Blood is on your hands. Do your job for once. We can cry about Hayes and board, but NCUA needs to be the one getting off their a**. How can we get in touch with them and flood their emails?

    2. News articles back in 2009 and 2010 report many within the credit union industry did place some of the blame on NCUA for the Wescorp failure. After all there was a NCUA Examiner within the company for many years leading up to the failing. Why was the activities at Wescorp not stopped earlier, could have prevented all those small credit unions' great losses. Would have saved SECU $120 million. SECU Board may not find this Wescorp matter concerning, but SECU Member Owners do.

  6. "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself."

  7. Hayes, I gotta ask, why do you always walk around the office with several different people? Are you scared to walk around amongst the peasants without your silly entourage?😂 I wish you realized people are mostly laughing at you. Never with you. The only part we aren’t laughing about is how you slithered into our company.

    1. Gotta feel important and create the illusion you are important.

    2. He literally asks the vp or svp if they are going to go with him. He is scared and is using that technique to make sure the vp and svp hears what employees are saying! Scare tactics.

    3. Bodyguards? Wouldn't surprise me; the new daily list of employees no longer working at SECU does suggest a certain level of security paranoia.

    4. Allegedly people have left very vocally about their thoughts on the company, I think they are afraid people will start to picket outside the branches, get members attention, so therefore they ban them from the premises

      Delete
    5. You can’t ban members from branches!

  8. Just another reminder: SVPs, VPs, and managers. Hold the line! You are still very important! You will become more and more important as this continues! We can make history and defeat Hayes but we cannot do it without any of you! Even if you still are on the fence about him or full on board somehow. Always keep an open ear to what’s really going on and remember where you came from! You only live once and we have a chance to thwart a crook and protect one of the best places to work and bank or should I say credit union in the state! You have such a huge purpose! Keep your head up and we can get through this! This is worth fighting for!

  10. Another day under the fascist regime of Hayes and he/his stooge, Ms. Brady. How do you like fascism SECU? That’s what we are getting. You’ll get more and more of it slowly as time goes by. Authoritarian leadership that uses intimidation tactics to get you to quit so he can insert more of his cohorts to really sink his teeth into SECU. Using propaganda to brainwash the advisory boards into thinking the changes are going so well. Controlled agendas, supplemental videos. Using propaganda such as the “fireside chat” to dismiss credible claims about the future of SECU. Compromised the Board enough to have them send an email showing their allegiance to their Lord, Jim Hayes. Lord Hayes thought SECU wasn’t smart enough to look at the financials and see that SECU is now making very risky real estate investments. Lord Hayes didn’t think we could use google to see that he has been fraud for years. #HoldTheLine #SayNoToCorporateFascism

    1. Not to mention changing the election procedures for the BOD. Hiring a number of lawyers to protect him from getting ousted. Telling staff the survey is anonymous and then turning around saying it is not. ALWAYS has to walk around with a crew. Fascism…more like Hazism

      Delete
    2. Notice he states in his email, “rowing in ONE direction” is that the direction you want to row in?

    3. Appears those survey results are still in hiding with the financial statements. We're not really interested in the survey results, they're already tainted. But SECU's financial statements are a whole different story, because there are these news articles on the web about a Chief Financial Officer at Wescorp. It was reported by multiple news sources, there was a big issue in the reporting of those financial statements as well. Don't think undisclosed will work on this topic...

  11. Has this board been played? Sure seems that way ...

but like investors who hold on tho their losers and sell their winners, they will never admit they made a mistake
Either they didn't do their homework or if they did, then something more sinister is at hand. Humans get greedy....

    1. Sometimes I think they’re drinking the Kool-Aid…. As if they have been brainwashed and are living inside the Haze bubble…. Come on out, I promise we won’t bite. And we have lots of information to run by you

  12. What kind of weak a** email was that Gym? You can’t do better than that? It took you all day to write that s***? Who is believing you at this point?

    1. It said everything, yet nothing at all….. after reading it I still wasn’t entirely sure what was going to be “more for the member”? A survey maybe? Lol I dont know

      Delete
    2. All I got from the email was desperation. "Please keep them emails coming" which, in reality, means **Please, someone email me. I love being liked and the center of attention**.

      Delete
    3. He wants those emails to carry to the Board for their praise for him, sort of like a kid taking their report card home to Mama. Oh I forgot he threw "Mama" out of SECU, my mistake.

  13. So THESE are the people responsible for hiring the modern day Kenneth Lay… if you know you know. If you don’t know, Google it. Don’t forget to do your due diligence people when you’re hiring someone!!!!!! These folks learned the hard way, and will be dismissed from their positions because of such negligence…..

  14. To reply to your email little Jimmy…the only roadmap plan we need to follow is getting you ousted and as far away as possible from SECU.

  15. Well, we got set straight with that "statement" emailed to us about THIS BOARD supporting Lord Hayes, etc etc etc. Ms Braday must be getting paid a bundle to have gone over to the dark side :( Hope our ship can be righted before it sinks or all of OUR money is paid to Lord Hayes. Don't think he is here for US - he managed a 2.4 billion dollar CU - we have 53 billion - do the math.

  16. His emails are just mindless rambles at this point. No substance. Just typical corporate rhetoric.

    1. At this point? That's all they've been from day one! His writing is shockingly incoherent.

It's like he thinks the "All Employees" option is his personal blog - rather than being reserved for important updates and announcements - and he can just spout whatever nonsensical word salad comes into his head as he's typing.

And then he'll claim, "well I send out those emails because I want to be transparent!" While actually saying nothing of substance and doing everything he can behind the scenes to obfuscate and deceive.

I don't want to be needlessly rude, but the fact of the matter is he's actually just stupid. Just a straight up unintelligent person.

I used to teach middle school, and if Hayes submitted this level of writing as an essay in one of my classes his grade would be a resounding F.

  17. Just know more and more members are finding out about the CEO and the Board. We appreciate this blog keeping us informed. The credit union belongs to us, not them. Stay strong SECU.

  18. Are we walking out or what?

    Replies
    1. No walking out. Stay and protect our credit union. Do the math, They are way out numbered. Members are on your side. They seek to take what SECU members and employees for decades have built. We are all in this together. Not giving up!

      Delete
    2. No quitting. All branches and departments are United! That’s what these parasites will try to do eventually and that’s divide the employees by favoring one over the other but will dispose of either when they get the chance. #StayUnited #WeOutNumberThem P.S if you think they are on your side, they truly are not. Even if you are rubbing elbows with Jim and his cohorts now…they will get rid of you as well when the time comes.

  22. I think the Grassroots publication needs to go because the "NEW SECU" sure isn't watering the roots of where SECU started and has grown over all the years. Maybe Gymmy and she/her can come out with "Plowed". It'll focus on how they've ran SECU in the freaking ground in a short time.
