  4. A change is needed for the Members and the Employees! Please vote and do not get fooled by the lies of the current Board and their push to retain control. We need a new direction with new Board Members! This could start shifting SECU in the right direction! For employees, don’t be influenced by the mangers that have been nothing but harmful over the last 3 years. Vote for a new direction! Save SECU for the Membership and the Employees that care to “do the right thing!”.

why do you think this was written?

  8. Why has SEANC endorsed the incumbent list? This sounds like a fixed railroad job! The current Board is recruiting paper puppets and stating that everything that Mr. Lord points out is not true. I never thought that our Credit Union would be at this point!

    1. If the current board can only go out of state, and do commercial business and real estate loans, they'll be sitting pretty for a take over. Happening all across the industry. Read about it on Chip Filson's Blog. https://chipfilson.com/2024/02/how-to-steal-a-cooperative-and-get-paid-60-million-for-doing-so/ If you become interested in the merger problem with credit unions, Filson has a lot of very informative posts on mergers.
It is difficult to understand why the board and leadership are so dug in, and resistant to hearing any concerns from the membership, are denying what their call reports show, unless it is greed.

  14. @12:17. Heard SEANC endorsed the incumbents because SECU paid for the dinner. Cost was in the thousands.

    1. Membe-owners money used to screw over member-owners. Should have gone into the pockets of member-owbers as dividends....

    2. Sounds like SECU bought the endorsement from SEANC. The incumbents policies certainly don't help most SEANC members. Very strange endorsement.

    3. That’s what happens when the SECU board is made up of lobbyists and politicians, it’s second nature them.

    4. I am pinching pennies and weighing too many things to eat dinner outside 20 bucks. Here they are, spending thousands of dollars of hard earned money from people like me to wine and dine and endorse themselves to get elected for a nonpaying job. WHY? That WHY is the answer to this extravagance. I cannot even fathom. Hope all SEANC members are aware of this to know where their leadership stands, what they believe in and whom they support.... MONEY....
