It doesn't take a genius to recognize that we are at a critical, decision juncture on many crucial issues in this Country - including the future of credit unions!
While we may not yet agree on what is needed for the future, hope we can all agree on two things we can no longer afford from the past:
doesn't fix the problem!

This depicts the fundamental problem in traditional thinking. The CU industry is rapidly losing relevance and more or already has. It can only save itself with mergers of financial healthy credit unions. Faulty premise around combos of tape and bandaids. Final health and safety and soundness does not equal or ensure relevance to members now, and especially in the near future. That’s what anti-merger zealots fundamentally don’t understand.
