With The SAFE/Boeing Mammoth Merger Vote: SAFE Members Recognized The Woolly Logic!

How the SAFE Board & CEO tried to pitch the promise of a mammoth merger with Boeing...

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/da/Mammuthus_jeffersonii.jpg?utm_source=en.wikipedia.org&utm_campaign=imageinfo&utm_content=original  Apparently, SAFE members had an extinctly different perspective on how a merger would affect their hometown and credit union...

California law requires a majority vote of all credit union members to approve any proposed merger.

Looks like the SAFE membership refused to let the SAFE Board pull the wool over their eyes and the majority of SAFE member said "tsk, tsk" or "tusk, tusk" to the proposal:

Is the SAFE Board's credibility moving from distinguished... to extinctguished?

  1. Mr. Blaine, it seems clear the majority of members didn’t cast a yes vote, but you seem to be implying that most that voted, voted no. How do you read into this that they didn’t let them pull the wool over their eyes?
