He built a fancy new gym for Operations employees. Branch employees got flex time which is often unusable without breaking the branch due to everyone needing employees.
It was only available to those working in that particular building. Let’s not make this a branch vs operations issue. Both areas of the credit union have been hurt over the past two years. We need to support each other and not get distracted. Our main goal should be regaining our ability to make decisions based on the needs of the membership.
Not enough people were willing to worship him as their Credit Union Savior. If you don't love a Narcissist then you are their enemy. He figured out he had too many enemies at SECU.
Absolutely, agree. On top of perhaps things were getting uncovered that needed to stay buried as well? The speed and non-transparent decision to take a job elsewhere would suggest the need to "get out of town" quickly?!!
Good riddance. I would like a full explanation and apology from the Board for inflicting this disaster on employees and members, but this will not happen. I hope they have learned something. Different doesn’t mean better. He never understood anything about what a wonderful thing we had or why. I could not have imagined so much destruction to SECU could be accomplished so quickly.
