  5. I think this is just to make it look like they are doing something. They won’t stop it. I have no faith in Kristina Ray.

  8. Looks to me like they want to throw Jamie under the bus. Definitely something Leigh is looking to do in my opinion

  9. Seems like there are people on the commission who are willing to stand up. Whoever that is, thank you! We will get to see if Ms. Ray takes this additional opportunity she’s being given to do her job. Or if she’s just a spineless administrator from Dunnnnnnnn.

  11. Do the right f*****g thing, SECU! I enjoy my job! I do not want to be outsourced for a worker that isn’t from NC just so you can save some money! Screw all that

    1. Isn't about saving money. It is the setup for the open field of membership this board has been pushing with the league in the last two legislative sessions. (current H410. Not dead just sitting in Senate Rules Committee to be resurrected next session.) That easily allows SECU to go regional-- why they will not want local decision making. All the advice from the consultants is about regional and national credit unions and banks-- not about some antiquated field of membership model where NCSECU through employees actually helped the member. Every decision is made by this board based on what consultants tell them to do. NONE of the consultants have any idea how an actual honest to goodness credit union works. MODERNIZZZZATION is the current buzzzword (Thank you Ms Fitzzzzzpatrick) NCSECU was managed haphazardly by a bunch of hicks that were lucky as hell.. no internet until Hayes came along. Still doing everything by paper since 1983.....They really had tellers sitting in all the ATMs because the previous incompetent management (Blaine and Lord) couldn't figure out how to get the ATMs online.

    2. "to be resurrected..." by the next board with the current CEO's blessing!

    3. Yep! That's why Alice Garland insisted that this board hire outside NCSECU--had to get it into the hands of someone who would willingly implement industry trends and listen to consultants. And Leigh Brady and Gym Hayes were "joined at the hip." jAs she has proven over the last few months. She's gonna make changes, just not right now. all the changes, reinstating modules etc, could have happened yesterday. Getting rid of Race Based Lending. Yesterday. Why is she dragging her feet? A. Waiting to see how the election comes out. Leigh is the equivalent of an outside hire.

    4. Well, to be fair, all of the changes Jim Hayes made wrecked our organization to the point of collapse. A knee jerk/whiplash response to throw more change on already bewildered employees would only prove to be more detrimental to the organization. Damage can be done quickly. Repairs take time.

    5. She’s about to Jack up the personal loan interest rates. How can we look in the mirror and charge our members 17-19% on a personal loan when it’s always been 10.75%.

    6. Leigh is Gym's evil twin. don't forget what she said to us over last 2 years. She was the person doing the s**t. She knew better, but greed, power lust is who Brady is. Don't believe her new bs...hasn't got it. just next tool for board idiots.
