Using Members' Money To Pay for Ads To Bail Out Incumbents?

ðŸ˜Ž Here try something different for a change [link]

Y'know something...... doesn't smell right about this SECU Board election!

Something doesn't add up, the incumbents seem desperate - not sure why???

Why spend all of this money on keeping a voluntary position for which they've never had to seek election?

Again, not sure why, but "something's in the air" at your Credit Union!

Time to vote for a change and... a breath of fresh air!

Jean Blaine - Susie Ford - Julian Hawes - Kirby Parrish

                 The member-nominated candidates!

  1. How did they get the position in the first place if they weren’t elected?

    2. Recommended by the Board's Nominating Committee (they almost always recommend the incumbents) with no opposition candidates from the members. Elected by proclamation.

  5. Do we know what the amount of the stipend is for board members? Maybe that is why they are fighting so hard to stay on the board?

    1. Under N.C.state credit union laws, board members may not be compensated. There may be some retreats, conferences or dinners but there is no stipend nor monetary compensation.
